I love this place. Foods always good, staff is great, places is always clean. Ribs and brisket are awesome. The smores pie is delicious to finish it off! Love the they offer so many things on the side. (Pickles, peppers, honey butter, ect) mac n cheese is the best I've ever had.

Dear Sweet Lucy Catering Team, I just wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible experience you provided at my daughter’s baby shower. From start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless. Alison and her assistant went above and beyond and truly exceeded all my expectations. I worked closely with Alison on the coordination, and she was not only professional but also a pleasure to work with—so easy to talk to and genuinely helpful every step of the way. My guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and the staff. Your team was organized, punctual, friendly, and consistently working with a smile—even with the annoying chill and rain. The setup was seamless, the service was outstanding, and the food was nothing short of spectacular. What stood out the most was how effortless you made it for me—I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. That peace of mind is priceless, and I can’t thank you enough for it. This certainly won’t be the last time I choose Sweet Lucy Catering. I’m so grateful for everything you did to make the day so special. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. Warmest regards M.Fernandez

Always my go to place before seeing any shows at the Union transfer. Comfort BBQ food delivering amazing service sizes, great for sharing plates with friends. Everything is always consistent and service is topically very quick. Great atmosphere for any type of crowd. You can smell this place from a mile away.

We ordered catering for my sons graduation. They were on time, professional and the food was TOP NOTCH! They even left a card for my son for his graduation and a nice cup too. So thoughtful during this time as well. Everyone raved about the food and we are thrilled to have ordered extras for leftovers. YUM!

We both agreed that if we lived closer to this place we'd have a serious problem! The food was excellent, well seasoned and the pairings were very complimentary. We got the wings, chicken po boy and salmon po boy with potato salad and veggies. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again!

I finally found an amazing BBQ spot in Philly—Sweet Lucy's! I heard about it through the Food Network and Chef Alex. We placed our order online this time, but we'll definitely dine in next time because the ambiance looks great. The staff was super friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our pickup. We ordered two "Double the Fun" plates with brisket, kielbasa, pulled chicken, and an extra pound of kielbasa. All the meats were fantastic, especially the kielbasa, but what really stood out were the sides and dessert. The mac and cheese and creamy spinach were our favorites, but the mashed potatoes with gravy and collard greens were just as good. The cornbread was excellent—definitely a must-try! The chocolate chip banana bread pudding was flavorful and absolutely scrumptious, while the s’mores pie was also pretty good. After the meal, we were so stuffed we practically passed out—it’s been a while since we’ve eaten like that! We can't wait to come back and try even more. IG: journey_man16

Unique but not totally unfamiliar feeling. Place was super clean from the front door to the bathroom to the back of the dining room. Very spacious - was there mid day Saturday Memorial Day weekend. Maybe 50% capacity when I was there. Turnaround from ordering to food arrival on table was less than 5 minutes. Self serve fountain drink, BBQ Sauce, and pickle stations. Parking lot has plenty of room and street parking seemed plentiful

It was my first time here and definitely will not be the last. I ordered ribs, chopped brisket, garlic mash, and collard greens. This is hands down, the best bbq spot in northeast Philly. Everything was seasoned PERFECTLY. I cannot wait to go back.
